Longtime organizer and Head of Gathering and Curation for Cortico, T. Marie King, was recently named to the Police Police Civilian Review Board of Birmingham, AL. 

According to a press release Birmingham Mayr Randall Woodfin stated, “Our Civilian Review Board will provide authentic community voice, involvement and engagement. It is a platform for moms, pastors, community activists and professional minds to assemble to work to promote the best Birmingham has to offer from a law enforcement prospective.”

T. Marie joins Rev. Lawrence Conoway of Fellowship Bible Church, YWCA domestic violence court advocate Annetta Nunn, criminal justice attorney Victor Revill, and former U.S. Attorney Joyce White Vance on the board.
