Reimagine Arkansas is a statewide storytelling project devoted to “listening and learning from under-heard voices about how COVID-19 has impacted their lives and what kind of future they hope will emerge from this time.” Believing that “those closest to the challenges are the ones closest to the solutions,” they sought to gather stories and perspectives that could influence public policy and decision-making.
Cortico’s conversation process and online tools provided a perfect channel for gathering compelling voices on issues that emerged through authentic conversations. Reimagine then partnered with artists and creatives to craft imagery and graphics that illustrate these themes and perspectives.
The resulting “Constellation kits” are distributed to partner nonprofits, providing authentic testimonials and high-quality graphics that add depth to their advocacy efforts. So far, kits have been distributed on the topics of healthcare, economic insecurity, housing and education.
