Fora Mobile isn’t just any new app; it’s the only app designed to empower community members by offering an authentic, inclusive, and trustworthy space for constructive dialogue. Fora Mobile offers a shift from social media noise to genuine conversation and understanding – shouting doesn’t work, real talk and real listening does. It’s the first step towards a fully featured social network designed to foster listening, nuance, and dialogue at scale.

Revolutionizing Conversations

Fora is designed to support the work of brave leaders and changemakers in government, schools, workplaces, community-based organizations, and grassroots movements. This major evolution of our platform introduces a host of features that enable community members to engage, listen, and lead within their own spaces. 

Fora Mobile helps individuals:

• Build Trust: Within Fora Mobile, community members curate trusted circles to engage in recorded small-group conversations. From there, voices move at the speed of trust, shared beyond the conversation only with the speaker’s explicit consent. These intimate spaces empower individuals to speak bravely and authentically, knowing they control how and where their voices are shared. 
• Listen to Their Community: Initiating conversations is as simple as scheduling a video call, allowing anyone to lead and join discussions effortlessly. Safer, more accessible spaces encourage more people to come to the table.
• Elevate Voices: Conversation participants can use the transcript feature to highlight their favorite moments from conversations – and lift up the voices they think more people (including community leaders and decision-makers) should hear.

• JA Worldwide is an anchor partner deeply committed to empowering young voices. Their partnership with Cortico began with the groundbreaking project, Youth Voices, in which conversations with 200+ JA alumni from 64 countries were recorded and analyzed. The current collaboration will continue to inform JA’s engagement strategy as new conversations flourish with the integration of this mobile app in early 2024. 

JA Worldwide is thrilled—through this partnership with Fora Mobile—to enable young people to lead conversations around the issues they care most about. One of our global strategic priorities is to empower the underserved, especially those communities and individuals who are often overlooked, and Fora creates a stage for all young people to be heard.

• Crossing Party Lines seeks to utilize Fora Mobile as a platform to foster conversations among Americans with differing political views, enriching their volunteer interactions and facilitator training.

• Reimagine Arkansas plans to use Fora Mobile to organize facilitators across the state in an effort to amplify the experiences of ALICE individuals (Asset-Limited, Income-Constrained, Employed), and distribute these insights to content creators, journalists, local leaders and influencers. 

• School of Thought provides a space to share how to put research on listening, learning, and leading into practice. They will be launching Fora Mobile as a way to collect conversations with youth and educators who will set the agenda for a gathering on the topic of bringing constructive dialogue to the education space.
